These are the letters that West Amwell CAP is recommending we have all residents send to our elected officials and relevant agencies. At this critical juncture we need to remind our political leaders what’s at stake, and just how large the body of constituents who are united against PennEast is.
Specifically, we want our officials to:
- Demand NJDEP reject PennEast’s application as both incomplete and illegal. It is an illegal application because NJ State regulations do not allow 3rd parties to file permits for land they do not have legal access to – and PennEast is lacking access to nearly 70% of land along the route in NJ.
- Demand the Delaware River Basin Commission fail to issue PennEast a formal docket, due to the application being woefully incomplete.
- Demand that our elected representatives call out PennEast for its harassing behavior, and demand that they stop this unethical and immoral badgering of landowners.
